Duties:
- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our buses.
- Attending to the daily driver reported defects
- Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
- Recording faults and the work performed to fix them using a tablet.
- Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.
Skills:
- Work a shift pattern of four days on and four days off.
- Ability to manage workload independently.
- Possess at least an NVQ Level 2 qualification in the maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification),OR have at least five years' experience in repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles, which you will need to provide evidence.
- Hold the IRTEC vehicle Inspector qualification or be prepared to gain this during your first 6 months
- While not essential, having a PCV licence would be a great advantage.
